FIELD OF APPLICATION i-CON VARIO 2

The i-CON VARIO 2 is perfectly suited for all SMT und PTH soldering applications in electronic production, rework and touch-up as well es in R&D. Especially suited for SMT soldering and desoldering are: the hot air tool i-TOOL AIR S and the desoldering tweezers CHIP TOOL VARIO. The range of application includes smallest SMD chips (0201), all kinds of standard SMD components up to high pin count components like PLCC 84 and high mass solder joints in PTH technology including their desoldering with a solder succing device.

i-CON VARIO 2
The i-CON VARIO 2 multichannel soldering and desoldering station offers to the professional user two simultaneously usable soldering tools. In parallel to the new, ergonomically designed hot air soldering unit i-TOOL AIR S (200 W) is it possible to operate another soldering tool such as the 150 W i-Tool, the ideal tool for classical soldering applications, or the new developed desoldering tweezers CHIP TOOL VARIO (80 W). Instead of the i-TOOL AIR S the high power soldering iron i-TOOL HP provides 250 W soldering performance an all VARIO stations. The soldering station without pumps (0ICV2000HP) addresses all users looking for i-TOOL HP and i-TOOL operation. The compact, ESD static safe supply unit offers the easy and clearly arranged display, which is in the i-CON family of tools a standard feature. As in the larger i-CON VARIO 4, interfaces for the AES Ersa solder fume extractor unit or the infrared preheating unit are available, also the method to quickly and safely configure the station with a microSD memory card.

i-TOOL-AIR S
Handy in size, convincing in power! The i-TOOL AIR S provides 200 W convection energy and ease of operation on multiple SMT applications. The hot air volume (2 to 20 l/min) is set directly on the hand piece and shown in the display of an i-CON VARIO 2 or 4 soldering station. To remove smallest chip components the operator can dose air volume precisely. Variable nozzles guarantee the best energy transmission to the solder joint. A built in motion sensor activates the i-TOOL AIR S, an IR-Sensor in the hand piece switches the tool on and off.

i-TOOL
The i-TOOL is an extremely lightweight but powerful soldering iron, accompanied by a wide range of beneficial AES Ersa long life soldering tips. 150 W heating power guarantee fastest heat up times and heat recovery. Process-window alarms, three energy levels and standby-sensor grant all i-CON-users an unrivalled process control in hand soldering.
